Ovens
The pan stands, burners and control knobs are removed and either placed in the process tank or put to one side out of the way. The hob surface is then cleaned with a cleaning paste including all round the control valve spindles. The knobs are then cleaned with a degreasing solution and fitted back on. Finally, the pan stands are cleaned and replaced leaving it looking like new.Microwaves
Special care has to taken when cleaning microwave ovens we therefore can not remove or dismantle these appliances to the same degree as normal ovens but they can still be thoroughly cleaned using the same process as above.
Hobs
The pan stands, burners and control knobs are removed and either placed in the process tank or put to one side out of the way. Filters are removed and put to one side to be dipped in the solution tank later and depending on what type of extractor it is we remove the front casing to access the inside. We then clean all accessible surfaces with a degreasing solution and paste if necessary including light covers and filter covers. The filters are then cleaned or replaces as required and the whole thing is given a final polishAgas/Ranges
Before we can clean Aga’s they must be switched off and cool so it is advised to do this 24 hours before we arrive. First we remove the doors and place to one side out of the way, then remove the outer hotplate rings and lid handles along with any other removable part and place these in the solution tank. Most of the work is done on the outside of Aga’s and similar types of range cookers which we clean by hand using a cleaning paste. All enamel and chrome surfaces are cleaned this way along with the inside of the hot plate lids and the inner rims of the oven compartments. The inside of each oven is swept out and if necessary scrubbed but usually there is only ash to remove from these areas. The doors are cleaned in the same way and replaced along with the parts from the solution tank. Everything is then polished to leave it looking sparkling clean.
